Parts Gallery is pleased to present an off-site exhibition at First Canadian Place Gallery, curated by Kelly McCray.

"These artists entice viewers into phenomenal worlds through seductive imagery that seize the senses onto a path of fantastical immersion.  Melissa Doherty, is known for her excruciatingly detailed paintings of trees, either from above or from within the bowels of the bark, pulling viewers into the heart and soul of the bewitching world that comprises the sanctuary of the tree. Yangyang Pan's intense, mash-up collision of textural colours, pull viewers into her world of germinating abstraction, only to push our anxieties to her outer limits of bliss and utter serenity. Douglas Walker lures viewers into his fantastical layers of wonder through his monochromatic paintings of otherworldly imagery that includes architecture, numerical text and astonishing, unexplored lands."

Kelly McCray will be in attendance and available for discussion on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM.

We are pleased to announce a solo exhibition of new works by New Hampshire artist, Jeremy Miranda. The exhibition is composed of eighteen acrylic paintings that explore Miranda's interest in memory, natural landscapes and the way they intersect with man-made objects and structures. Hard lines are juxtaposed against painterly brush strokes, and the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces blur to create unusual and thought-provoking compositions. 

Please join us for a reception with artist present to celebrate Miranda's first solo exhibition in Canada on June 11th from 7-9 PM.

The iconic bison once roamed the grasslands of North America by the millions, before nearing extinction in the 1800s. In the present day, Flynn documents her journey from Alberta, Canada, to Wyoming, USA, exploring the few remaining habitats of these majestic creatures. This exhibition by the Toronto-based artist uses photography and graphics to capture the bison's old-world beauty in today's 21st-century environment. 

Flynn's solo show is an official exhibition of the 2015 Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival. Please join us for an opening reception with the artist present on May 8th from 7-9PM.
